Do you want more nutritious food? Cleaner air?
Healthier soils? Stronger communities?
Pasture raised chicken and eggs have higher nutrient densities than non-pasture raised in key areas, including Omega 3 and Vitamins A, D, and E. Our chickens arrive here as day old chicks and are immediately put on pasture with supplemental heat from day one. They are kept safe inside of chicken tractors and moved to fresh grass every day, therefore avoiding waste build-up, parasites, and illness, resulting in a happier, healthier bird that doesn't rely on antibiotics for survival. Our birds never, ever receive any antibiotics, steroids, or hormones.
Would you rather eat:
Chicken that has lived without sunlight, standing on its own manure in a dark, crowded barn, and eating a strict grain diet.
Chicken that spent its life outside, was moved daily to a fresh salad bar, ate bugs, and didn’t spend its days standing in its manure.
Pasture raised is a better method of farming for everything involved.
The land. The birds. The people.
